Brief
In the Harvard Design School Guide to Shopping, Rem Koolhaas argues that our urban environments are now dominated by the process and artefacts of consumption, that shopping is “….the last remaining form of public activity..”.

In the context of shifting consumer behaviour and the challenge from online retailing, the project explores the nature of shopping as an interiorised public activity and the potential for the spatialization of brand aspirations and values in the interior.
