This is a great article from last weekend’s Australian Financial Review – will we finally see the end of the most cliched interior aesthetic of recent years? Think pastel colour palettes, grey on grey walls, glossy subway tiles, raw timber, enamel pendant lights, upcycling….

“It’s that hipster, cool, laid-back feel that dominated 2014, whether in residential or hospitality. That whole look has become so repetitive and forced,” Clark says. Every surface seems to have been worked to the nth degree, distressed and mismatched. Enough!”
