Congratulations to BIA Year 4 tutor Cushla McFadden whose practice TomMarkHenry has been shortlisted in the Hospitality Design category in the 2015 Australian Interior Design Awards.
TomMarkHenry was founded by Jade Nottage, Cushla McFadden (both BIA graduates) and Chloe Matters after the three designers worked together on a number of large-scale interior projects between their two companies markandhenry and Matters Made.
Their shortlisted project, “Bondi’s Best” represents a new direction in seafood restaurant design with textures and tones inspired by the site’s coastal location. A gentle fusion of natural and artistic elements were juxtaposed with luxurious accents, ensuring a quality of design craftsmanship equal to the established high calibre of culinary technique.
Winners of the 2015 Australian Interior Design Awards will be announced on 15 May. Best wishes to TomMarkHenry!
